National Cybersecurity Institute Symposium Series
For the final in its symposium series, the National Cybersecurity Institute at Excelsior College (NCI) will host on May 13, 2015 a symposium on Security in Cyberspace. As threats continue to increase in cyberspace, security measures there have assumed a new importance. But in striving for better security, the premise of the medium is in danger of being compromised. During this event the panel will focus on cyber global realities, specifically asking how “open” the Internet is and is that medium trending toward a more closed interface?
The symposium will feature some of the Nation’s foremost experts in cyber warfare including panelists:
Mr. Paul Caiazzo, TruShield Security Solutions
Dr. Matthew Flynn, Marine Corps University
Mr. Mark Noble, ISACA
Mr. Ron Carpinella, Decooda International
Dr. Irving Lachow, Mitre, will present the framework for the conversation. The symposium will be moderated by Dr. Jane LeClair, Chief Operating Officer at the National Cybersecurity Institute at Excelsior College.
