On October 20, 2014, the National Cybersecurity Institute (NCI) hosted a webinar on “Malware Analysis.”
The webinar showed the steps that are required to capture and analyze malware. It also examined tools and skills needed to perform malware analysis.
The webinar was presented by James Antonakos. James is a SUNY Distinguished Teaching Professor of Computer Science at Broome Community College, in Binghamton, NY, where he has taught since 1984. Antonakos is the designer and director of the new 2-year AAS Degree in Computer Security and Forensics at Broome Community College. He is also the author or co-author of over 40 books on computers, networking, electronics, and technology.
Additionally, James is a fellow at the National Cybersecurity Institute.
